Funding Amount:

Maximum funding rates based on eligible expenses for the innovation phases:

• Industrial research phase: generally up to 50% (max. 80%*)
• Experimental development phase: generally up to 25% (max. 60%*)
• Feasibility studies: up to 50%
• Process and organizational innovations: up to 50%

Grant funding: up to 3 million euros per project

Loan funding: up to 3 million euros per application

*+20% for small enterprises (as defined by the SME definition)

+10% for medium-sized enterprises (as defined by the SME definition)

+15% for a) cooperation between enterprises, at least one of which is an SME, in at least two EU/EEA countries (no single enterprise bears more than 70% of the costs) and b) cooperation between enterprises and research institutions, whereby the research institution covers at least 10% of the costs and has the right to publish its research results.

• The ILB (granting authority) decides on the grants based on the submitted documents and the WFBB’s expert opinion.
• The program expires on June 30, 2027
